Opening:
The meeting was called to order by Carrie Mullins at the Alcona EMS building on M72 at 7:00pm.

Chairman’s Welcome
Carrie said our Ad campaign has been working. We did Facebook and text messaging ads, along with newspaper ads. Carrie has had 12 calls, who has seen the ads, and wanted extra clarification (like who are the Justices, or know where to go vote, etc.).
County Call to Convention
$41.50 to reimburse for Carrie for Alcona Review ad spend via check. $215 from petty cash. Moved by Jeff, seconded by Judy.

A lot in Alcona County have been claimed, which is very positive news.
County Call to Convention
Jeff is running for Chair. Jess for Secretary. Carrie for Treasurer. Danica is welcome to run as Trustee or even Honorary Trustee (if she can’t attend meetings.) Andy wants to run as Trustee or Vice Chair. William might run as Vice Chair as well. Nelson French to run for Sergeant-of-Arms. Jeff to zoom meeting for Andy and any others.
This is our normal meeting for November.
Maybe make it a dessert/pie and appetizers potluck party.
Last convention of 2024 to appoint Precinct Delegates. Frank Grubbs to be elevated to PD for Caledonia. Going to legally appoint Judy French to Haynes Township as PD since she has moved. Nelson French to be appointed as PD in Harrisville Township to replace Judy who has moved.

New Business: Labor Day Parade
They handed a lot of signs out at the Labor Day parade. Big shout out to Jeff, Jim, Nelson & Judy French, Bob & Lisa, and Carrie too. Our float came before the Democratic group, and so they had to see all our Trump signs everywhere. Good job everyone!
New Business: Reimbursement for Ads
Jeff didn’t realize that the Card number he used was for the wrong account (corporate), and so it failed. Mary Weber called Carrie, and Carrie used her Debit Card to pay for the ad, because the card won’t work for it. So, she’ll need to be reimbursed.
Jess moves to reimburse Carrie the $81 for the ad, Kris seconds. Discussion: William wants these ads out soon.

Someone from Alpena asked about their voter guide, to him, and he’s asking for more information. Carrie said they have a voter card that is being handed out from their Headquarters.
